Guys, please help me with my situation!
I submitted my file to Sydney, NS on 31Dec-2008. But I have no response from them. I called the bank and found that my draft got cleared on 15 Jan 2009. Is it a good news or my application still can be rejected?

the draft was cleared because they attach your receipt with the letter.

best wishes

Hello again my good friends,
got any room around the camp fire, I just sent my application 2 days ago
I got 7.5 in IELTS (Academic : hope they accept it) , all the bands are enough to get the whole language points (Pheeewww)

How has it been going for you? any updates (for those of us walking in your shaddow!)

good luck

Canadastan

PS: just updated Trackkitt.com

Canadastan,

Submitted my application today. Hope your IELTS preparation is going well. Good luck when you send it.
Hopefully, i haven't made any mistakes.

Good luck my friend, was just STUDYING,
I will note down this day, hope all goes well for you, just make sure to get accommodation with 1 extra bed once in Canada, in case somebody you know gets in too!

When you get to the stage when you start doubting your application, I will be here to help you through it! :-)
you did well, things will be alright.

Canadastan

There will always be doubts in the application lol, but hopefully i dont think about it. It is what it is. Its a long wait so dont want to think that long. i might not come on  here much anymore....so i can do my real work more lol. It would also help me forget about my application, until the visa office come back with more questions to me. Good luck with the studies. i heard its not so bad.

thanks for the wishes,
exactly my strategy, like a camping trip, enjoy the company while the food cooks at the back (that's of course until i come back screaming here HELP HELP). looking forward to join you and the others around the camp fire my friend, until then enjoy the normal life.

its just been a long wait. I think some visa offices are moving quite fast, while others not so. At least on trackitt, there is one from manila and one from accra who has had their medical request. Hopefully we see such movements in all the offices.

Congratulations on the IELTS and sending in your applications. Now the wait by the camp fire Smiley Theres lots of room by the campfire, infact 265000 space by the camp fire Smiley

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

I took it because I was running out of time, there were no slots to sit for the general test, so I had no option
besides the Academic is harder thant he general.
don't risk it

good luck

For the 8012th time, the CIC instructions state MUST be general.

Hello my good friends,

Since I was last here I received two communications, you remeber I sent my full appilcation and supporting papers in mid april 2009
the first was that the London Office has received my file from Sydney (I posted the details to trackitt)
then on 25 June 2009 I recieved a letter asking for the PCC (the told me not to send it with the final application) with a letter from the local embassy requesting it from the local authority. I have to submit those in 60 days before they review the file again (..or lelse ..!!)

So I am having those issued and translated.

How is it going with you all
I wish you the best and thanks again for all the help

Hey Canadastan, Long time, no hear. Glad to hear that someone is looking at your application. Mine seem stuck at Buffalo.  The good news is that some visa offices are going pretty fast. Have you gotten your PCC yet? This step should be quick. Hopefully once this is done, they will ask you to do medicals soon and then before you know it, its over and you are in Canada Smiley

So Buffalo is slow, too bad I was hoping to make your sofa my home for a while in Canada, now I guess I have to put up with you on my sofa!
No worries, I guess they are just have alot more applicants than London.

The other good news that they have not objected to my IELTS being the academic exam, so i guess this English proficiency thing is not the make or break.

Good luck, still hoping to use your sofa before you use mine!
