What is accepted as proof of custody and proof that the child can leave the jurisdiction of the court? Do I need to go to court to obtain some document or will a notarized statement from the other parent do ?

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration.
Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

Because children are a sensitive issue which it comes to immigration, I would get a proper court order to prove custody instead of just relying on a notorized paper.

devern, do not rely only on affidavit.

If you pls provide a detail information of the child, others may suggest you.

Thanks.
