Hi,

We applied in Skilled Worker Category in May 2008.

Here are the details of my application:

Appilcation type: Federal Skilled Worker
Applying from: Canada
Sent Application to: Buffalo, NewYork at 26 May, 2008
Received AOR: 27 August, 2008
Received additional document request: 23 April, 2009
Attended interview at Buffalo: 4 January, 2010
Got medical request: 15 January, 2010

With the medical request forms we didn't receive any letter requesting RRPF (Right of Permanent residence fee). We just came to know that RRPF can be sent at the time of applicaion or at any time during the processing. We want to fee the RRPF now in advance to save some time because it's already 2 years for us. Can anyone please give us any suggestions regarding this?

I talked with the call center agents, but didn't get any solid info abouy the RRPF payment procedure.

Please help us in this.We need to know whether we should pay the RRPF now, where to send tha fees, whom sould it made payable to.

Waiting to hear from you.

Shika,

When did your file get transferred to NY?  How long it took at NY office before getting the medicals request?

How much time it took to get the status updated to 'In process'?
