I want to pay the RPRF tomorrow, but after reading the text below, I am not sure how to do that. Can I (as a PA) pay the amount on one check (980 CAD  for me and my husband-as I did with the application fees), or do we have to do it in 2 separate checks, each one on 490 CAD?

This fee is payable by principal applicants (with some exceptions) and accompanying spouses and common-law partners. It
must be paid before the immigrant visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.
The following applicants are not required to pay this fee:
· dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew
or grandchild; and
· protected persons, including Convention refugees.
If your application is not approved and you have already paid the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, it will be refunded to

.........Send it as one payment by DD  - from a bank    ..    they have all your details and will be aware you are paying for your Spouse and you  Smiley
