Hi All,

Could anybody please suggest that the RPRF Draft made in the favour of  “Canadian Consulate General”, if for the applicant and spouse, has to be 1 Bank Draft for C$980 or two for C$490 each?

Thanks!!!

one draft of $980 is good enough and thats the way it should be too, reduce some paper work and save environment.

Just make sure, if the money is in CAD $, the draft is payable to "Receiver general for canada" and if it is in USA $, it should be payable to "consulate general canada", as mentioned on the website of buffalo itself.

if u get this wrong, they wont reject ur application, as some people think, lol...... but its always nice to do things, they way u r told. i know in email it says, just consulate general canada, but check out buffalo website, and it mentions it clearly there.
