Hi Everyone - when immigrating to Canada on a spousal visa, is it best to buy a one-way ticket or a roundtrip? I've been getting different answers, and it's all very confusing! Hope someone here can help.

If you are landing as a PR, then one way is fine. Just sometimes it can be cheaper to have a return ticket.

If, however you are landing on a temp visa of any kind, then best to get a return ticket. Some airlines will not even let you board with a one way ticket if you only have a temp visa.
