Dear all,

I am entering through Road from US and want to return immediately (within couple of hours from border itself) to US after the PR process is completed ? Is that a possibility or do I have to stay for a particular period of time before I can return to US ?

Thanks

i'm also interested in the answer because i plan to do the same (if and when i get PR) ...

also, i heard if immigration officer asks if I plan to move permanently and I say "no I would complete the PR process and return to US soon" they say "then you shouldn't apply for a PR card now and apply for it only when you're ready to move to Canada permanently" ... is it really true?

i could say "i'm moving permanently" instead of telling them my true intention but is it safe to do so?

secondly, if I rent a car to enter canada and tell them "i'm moving permanently" would that be a suspicious situation?
