RN 3152 or LPN 3233 Ready for July2012

For those who applied last year but did not meet the CAP, do we need to update our experience letter or use the returned package like that? what should we update?

The NOC code is changed from 3152 to 3012? If so NOC list for 2012 July is released already? Kindly inform me regarding this. I am also gonna apply in July 2012.

The NOC codes are a different thing than eligible occupations.
NOC codes just indicate a specific occupation and the duties related to it, these are updated every five years.
While the Immigration Department of Canada can select some of these NOC codes/occupations in demand every year and invite applications. so wait until july 2012, which have been called.

we must upgrade experience letter as it can lead to increase your points.

Assume that CIC decides to increase eligibility points, you will be in advantage.

cic system is having an invisible lap, it keeps people expecting +ve results despite not making it into the cap.
You will see many will be here in june 2012.
hope CIC makes some good amendments. .. . . . .

any updates regarding july2012 cap for nurses?

I got my appliaction returned twice already due to cap reached. im also planning to re-apply this july. Im quite worried on how my agent computed my work experience. I worked as a full time staff nurse from nov 2006 to may 2008, worked as a part-time private nurse from january 2008 to nov 2010 and currently employed in a call center as a nurse agent from sept 2010 to present. My agent gave me the maximum point for experience. though my xperience as a staff nurse overlaps with my private nurse experience.


Staff nurse (nov 2006 to may 2008) = 1year and 6  months
private nurse (jan 2008 to nov 2010) = 2 years and 10 months
nurse agent (sept 2010 to present) = not counted as an experience under noc 3152

 Is the way she computed/assessed my experience correct? pls advise. thanks

ONLY completed years while working in specified job description duties are counted as experience.
pls tell me how many marks for experience were awarded to you by ur agent.

Hi!
I just have my work experience re-assessed by my agent. Gave me maximum points = 4 years. She told me that my experience as a call center agent is listed as one of the job titles in noc3012. This is how she computes my work experience:

staff nurse - nov 2006 to may 2008 (1 year and 6 months)
private nurse - june 2008 to june 2010 (2 years)
call center nurse agent - sept 2010 to present. (1 year)

is this correct? thank you for your help.. really appreciate it.

to apply under a category you must have all the experience in that category
FULL TIME,
PAID,
min 40hrs per week,
JOB DUTIES MATCHING the NOC CODE.

under 3012.

ALSO pls don't count ur chicken before they hatch.
I mean don't count ur points on july2011-june2012 intake basis as the quota for nurses is filled.
Let CIC notify changes for july2012 applicants. I hv learnt that CIC is planning to reduce the points granted for experience. But it will be wrong for us to make a guess.

Hi! I just want to ask if it will be a requirement to have a Credential Evaluation assessment for the submission of my application for July 2012 for RN's? Or it's just an additional points or a requirement from an employer?

Do you think I have my credentials to be assess as early as now even though it's not yet confirmed? thanks!
