hi talk2melas, the guy from Riyath, you had applied last year and could n't make it to the cap, but anyway allthe best for this time, hope 3152 opens this time too.

I also need to see a copy of someone's experience letter so I can compare, at least someone who scaled through. But I will sure post it and I hope otheers will contribute too so we will minimixe mistakes.

Here is how my experience letter looks. Please if you have something different or you think its not sufficient, tell me so I can arrange for another one.

To whom it may concern
            This is to confirm that Ms ........ worked with us between August, 18 2009 and January, 22 2011 as a registered nurse/midwife. She was employed on a full time basis. Her annual salary ...... [please verify] plus other benefits [explain, if possible.]
         She worked in male medical ward between August, 26 2009 and May, 11 2010. Her duties included; admission and discharge procedures for all patients, proper history taking and documentation of patient's signs and symptoms, monitoring of patient's vital signs [temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure], height and weight, health education of patients concerning prevailing health conditions monitoring patient's blood sugar using glucometer and appropriate administration of insulin as prescribed, plotting of vital signs graphs to facilitate rapid identification of changes in patient's condition, wound dressing under aseptic technique , administration of drugs [oral and parenteral] as prescribed by the physician, passage and maintenance of urinary catheter, suctioning of patients, passage and maintenance of naso-gastric tube, strict intake and output monitoring, administration and monitoring of intravenous fluid and drugs, bathing, turning patients, oral care, serving of bedpan, serving of urinals, performing last office, appropriate collaboration with other professionals in the medical team, and supervising health attendants.
      She worked in paediatric surgical and orthopaedic ward between May, 12 2010 and January, 22 2011. Her main duties included; admission and discharge procedures, pre-operative and post-operative care of patients, wound dressing under aseptic  technique, removal of sutures, removal of drainage tubes, administration and monitoring of intravenous fluids, monitoring and documentation of vital signs, height and weight, plotting of vital signs graph, infection control, administration of drugs [oral and parenteral], administration of oxygen, suctioning of patients, turning of patients, bathing patients oral care, accompanying patients to tests at other locations within the hospital [ecg, x-ray, ultrasound, physiotherapy etc], dressing patients, serving of bedpans and urinals, monitoring of tractions [skin and skeletal traction],  health educating patients on home care and  return visit and rendering nursing care using nursing process model.
    She is proficient with computer and other hospital equipments. She communicated with patients and co-workers using English and Igbo language. She contributed to the growth of this institution through dispensing of quality nursing care. She is hardworking, kind, punctual, respectful and conscientious.
     Thus, we confirm her job experience and excellent standing. We therefore recommend her to you for any form of assistance she may require.

guys,

indicate the number of hours per week incurred and the total numbers you've done since the stqrt of your employment..its important to have the document dry sealed by the company or authenticated as such..provide a calling card or just indicate a person they can call for verification... this is very important if you want a smooth processing, a lot of my batchmate was not keen on doing this steps and they were asked for additional documents..

                  i also plan to apply for july2012....so to beat cap when should v post our application?its not advisable to post before july as they may have some changes on july 1....so wat is best date to send documement

The NOC code is changed from 3152 to 3012? If so NOC list for 2012 July is released already? Kindly inform me regarding this. I am also gonna apply in July 2012.

lpn cap status is 473 now.
one of my frnd applied on 14 NOV 2011 is still waiting reply.
i think all the applicants who filed under 3233 after 15 nov 2011 may get their applications back.
