Hi there,
I have scheduled to appear for my confirmation of PR on May 10 next month and I will be leaving canda on May 14 for a short vacation that I planned back in January. I am holding a visa-exempted passport. I've heard alot of story that I dont really need a travel document to come back to Canada. Is there anyone who can confirm this with me please ? I know that I could get back into Canada as a vistor with my visa-exempted passport, but I want to make sure that I could get back in as a PR.

Any other comment or suggestion is welcome too.

Thank you in advance !!

hi I'm a novice so i may not be able to answer this  but i'll try; first pls clarify (forgive my ignorance) what's a visa-exempted passport and what's a PR-confirmation?  if you mean an interview as part of the PR process beware that's not a confirmation they can re-open all immigration-related issues and even overturn previous decisions; ask a more experienced person than me; be careful
best of luck

If the only country you visited after leaving Canada is the US and you are returning by foot or your own vehicle,
you can use the "Landing Record" document which was issued when you landed, to return to Canada.
