Hi PMM,

I need your help on this concern.

I landed Canada last June 3, 2003, got my new PR card to expire June 2008. I have a valid passport.

I left Canada for the Philippines October 30, 2003, is here until now.

I plan to return to Canada on May 30, 2006.

Knowing my permanent residency obligations as per the new rule , i am sure i can still accumulate the 730 days physical presence in Canada until my PR card expires.

With the info above, can you pls confirm my eligibility to return as i might be missing some information relevant to this issue.

Thank you very much. God bless.

respectfully yours,
Jaime

You have to return by 29/10/06, if you return 30/05/06 you will have about 5 months leeway to meet your PR obligations by 29/10/08.  It is a rolling 2/5 year commitment.
