Hi,

To those who are having their medicals done or RPP issued,
Did your translation office really write an affidavit? a sworn statement in the presence of an adminstrator of oath, that the contents of their translation are true?

Was it enough to certify your documents copies from the issuing authorities?
Or you had to have a judge a magistrate or a commissioner certifying them?

and finally when were you asked to pay the RPP fees CAD$490 ?

did you have to include it with the documents you submitted to CIC?

bet wishes

- When they will ask for your medical generall it comes along with it. However, it is not mandatory to pay $490 at that time. It is optional to pay at that time. However, if you pay it early this will expedite your case processing time. Otherwise they have to ask for the payment with your PPT request.

thanks for the answer,
good point, but what usually happens, because we need to submit the passports anyway, so I am thinking if even if I submit the payment early, they will still need our passports to be sent, and they will come back to me with this request.

thanks again

- Yea true. It is your judgement call and personal preference. I mentioned early that it is not ncessary to pay before ppt submission. However, some people like to finish any step of their case in advance. Who knows when they will see that you have already paid the fee and they have nothing else as a requirement from you they will just send you the ppt request.
Take it otherway, you send your passport along with fees. Then the ppt will be kept in your file for the waiting period of your bank draft to be cashed. That means there is possibility of losing some time here.

Thank you.
