Just apdate for my track, I received my passport with VISA yesterday, April 5, 2009. It take 16 working days only.....

I am not a lawyer. Any information provided should be verified for its legal stand in the Rule of Land. My PR application statu: Medicals done on 27th March, resubmitted X-rays on 14th July, resubmitted one medical rpt Aug & got my PPR in Nov.

where are you heading? What airline did you chose? Im planning to book with Cathay. Actually, I haven't booked my flight yet since Im still waiting for the response of my employer regarding my final employment start date. Once I can have that date, I can then book my flight. My employer will be a bit delayed in getting back to me since she has an important pandemic worldwide planning meetings with regards to Swine Flu virus...

Actually my sisters bought the ticket on canada and I will pick up in the branch here in Makati, Manila so until now I have no idea in what airline Im going to but this week I will get my ticket. Im going to Winnipeg.

Wish you Luck If you're ok mentioning the exact reason regarding the problem in your medical result, please provide some further details. Also, if you sent your passports in Jan 2009, as you said a week from your PPR, it is 3-4 months from sending PP (Jan 09) to receiving stamped visa on your passport (May 09). Looking at this timeline, I don't think I will be able to move to AB this summer. :( Thanks, Taps
