HI, I received a letter from the embassy of canada in paris that they are ready to issue our visas, but I was confused about the meaning of RETURN BY REGISTERED MAIL... what does it means? do i need to send them an extra enveloped with my self address? or they are the one to provided them and pay for the registered mail?

thanks in advance.

Depending on you country of residence, I'm not sure how effective your post office or mailing system works.

The embassy will send your Visa through regular mail and it will take longer time before it could get to you and not tracking.

Just for your peace of mind, it will be better you inform them that you will send them a pre-paid envelop from either DHL, UPS, FedEx with tracking number on it so they put your Passport, Visa and all other document in it. That way you can easily track them once the return envelop is activated using your tracking number. Goodluck
