I just got a rejection email from cic because my main duties did not match the noc code i apply for. Wat i want to ask is whether the documents will be returned to me and if not, can i just resubmit a new application with further evidence of my duties and asked them to refer to the previous app for documents like ielts, police cert, transcript etc. One othere issue is that i plan to include my partne in my app which previously i stated i was single. Would this latest inclusion impede my application? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer me

sorry were on the same boat...they will not return your documents its part of their file . so all you have to do is gather again all the documents it will cost you more money aside from effort and time

Send in my apps on 13 may 2011 by dhl, arrived at cic on 19 may 2011. Credit card credited on 26th may 2011. Rejection email received on 8 july 2011. I don't think i need any new reference letters as i am self-employed. Just find it tedious to go through all the process of translating the documents, pcc , certifying docs etc. Oh well, i guess it will be all worth it when i get the stamp on my passport, hopefully.  Tongue

i dont know much about self employment but you should ask Qorax...he will tell you what exactly you need as a self employed applicant to make ur case sound and trouble free...i read somehwere that its quite hard for self employed applicants..so you have to go in with all guns blazing
