Residency Requirement

I recently posted this in another forum but no one was able to help:

I have read that time spent outside of the country while working at a canadian international office would count toward residency requirments.  Does anyone know if international organisations such as UN offices are included in this..

No they are not.  They are not Canadian employers.

I figured as much.  I read the notes and see that it says canadian employer.  I just thought that since there are UN offices based in Canada as well, the international counterparts would qualify.  Do you know if there is a section that speaks specifically to employment in international organisations with which Canada is a member or any other official source (canadian govt office contact etc..)
