Residency Obligations

Hi,
I am from India working in USA on H-1. I am about to an end of 3 years period of 5 years being out of Canada. I would like to know the following:
1.for the rest of 2 years if I spend weekends in Canada and continue working in usa will that be helpful?
2. Stay in windosr and work in Detroit commuting daily for the rest of 2 years.
3.Can I get an exemption from a Canadian official to extend my stay in USA for another year till my H-1 B visa staus ends in USA
