Yes exactly, so get 5 sets. Also make sure that you ask for immigration photos, not PR photos (which are for stand-alone PR card applications and not the same).

I'm in Southern California USA so I know it may be a bit different, but the price that Costco is charging for each pair in addition to the original pair that you pay for is about right in comparison. I was charged a tad over 7 dollars for each additional pair. My DMP requests 5 photos for the medical exam and then with 4 more being sent with the application, I got a total of 10 photos since it had to be even number.

Costco here doesn't provide immigration photo service (although they do, like everyone else, do tons of passport photos) so I went to a private
photo studio as a last resort.
The total price was, for me, steep: 77 dollars because these are "international" photos.

I feel I got ripped off but I am so desperate and my medical exam is this week.

Oh, and I haaaaaaaaaate the photo. Haha, oh well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is all worth the pain in the end.

Hmm. When I applied they were different (I remember because my wife was applying for PR card renewal at the same time and we got different photos for her), but they appear to be the same now when I re-checked the specs. Unless I'm going senile... Cheesy

Hello again, I figured I would pull this thread back up real quick instead of starting a new one. One last photo question!! :-D

I have been searching everywhere for an information on what is supposed to be on the back of each immigration photo (whether it's for medical and/or the application package) and most importantly, on the US Guide it doesn't say a single thing. Unless I keep missing it! Does that mean all 9 photos (5 medical + 4 immigration) should just have nothing on the back? Any experience with this? Thanks again!!

as far as I read in my visa office guide (not Buffalo) they ask to write down a full name, date of birth, country of birth and when pictures were taken.
