Look at this: I was expecting Buffalo to either transfer my application to Brazil or return it back to me. I contacted them by e-mail and on the e-mail they said my file was transfered back to Sydney, NS and that any inquiry should be made to the Sydney Intake Office. What is going on?

Cheers,

just a quick question to understand your situation, you stated that you have sent your application to buffalo 2 months ago, do you mean after getting the approval from sydney at first ?

Hi! MjSantos,

I will consider this a good news, at least you know something is looking at your file.  My thoughts on the reason why Buffalo transfer your file back to CIO-S is because it's the central office and they will have to electronically transfer your file to Brazil.  Rupeshari is right.

professional 1,

Yes, I sent it to Buffalo 3 months ago after the approval from Sydney. Then, they returned it back to me because I did not have proof of legally entry into the US for a period of 1 year. Then, I sent it back to them requesting them to transfer it to Brazil, country of my nationality. Instead, they transfered it to Sydney, NS.

Let's pray now!!!

perhaps they are letting NS evaluate whether you can apply through Brazil. It might seem obvious to us that you can apply through Brazil, perhaps their system cannot handle it unless it goes through NS. I am, of course, guessing.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

No, Buffalo decided not to be the OPs post box, so they shipped to back to NS.  The OP better hope that it reached Brazil before the 120 days are up.

No, it will not reach Brazil within 120 days. The 120 days were up on May 18th 2009.

Thanks.
