Hya,
i am july 2007 london applicant, done medicals in march 2011 and in april 2011 reply, chc london mentioned that they will be sending me ppr in first week of may 2011. i send another e-mail on monday to confirm my ppr but i get the following reply,
Please be advised that your application is awaiting a background review by immigration officer. We will write to you when we are in a position to do so.
We hope this information is of assistance to you.
The High Commission
What its meaning? any thing wrong on my application am realy scared now. please help me seniors.

Hi, This is ok. They do background security checks in every country you've lived in for 6 months or more to check you've not been involved in terrorism, subversion or espionage. If you haven't then you'll be fine and then they will request your passport so don't worry.  |

You should receive ur PPR! I think You should ask Mr Nectar our expert.

No worries at all. You should be getting PPR within a month. Sometimes back an applicant received more or less a same reply and got her PPR within a week or so . So be relaxed and expect to receive it very soon. |

But unlike Nectar I do not claim to be any kind of expert - I am just an applicant who shares my experiences and the knowledge I have gathered during this process to help other people as best I can. But I do not consider what Nectar does is helping people. I do respect most people on this forum greatly. However, Mr Nectar seems to DEMAND respect and has done nothing to earn it, but confound and confuse applicants with his "breaking news" which is most cases has been proven wrong or misleading. He never links his source and seems to enjoy cruelly stringing applicants along. A few short months ago he was a clueless SAP 2007 applicant asking help from the seniors. You think in a few months he becomes an absolute expert who is always right? My friend, I help a lot of people - that's why I have 194 positive feedbacks. I dedicate many hours per day to this task, in fact. Sometimes i think because you are mature enough and a respected forum member, there are certain messages you have to ignore them. You must show signs of maturity at all levels. When you waste your precious time to rubbish messages, personally i really feel for you. Please do not drag yourself in mud and do not be little yourself. We all respect some members on this forum.
