Hi

I got my citizenship Certificate in paper format (8.5 x 11) years and years ago and I now want get a card.
How do I go about getting one?
What do I need in terms of documentation?

You can find the instructions and application forms at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/proof-how.asp  The card is also called a citizenship certificate on there.  When you become a citizen today, you get both the document and the card.
