repeat x-ray

Can anyone tell me how long we will have to wait to hear from London after a repeat x-ray.  My husband sent his x-ray results 6 weeks ago, he had to repeat his chest x-ray.  How long until we hear from London, we are so anxious nearly 3 and half years since we applied.  please help.
