rent a house in ALBERTA

i'm a tunisian one and i plan with my girlfriend to come ALBERTA to finish ourlives there, i just wanted to know if someone can explain to me thing about finding an appartement, if it's easy to find, what are the prices, i'm just looking for a small place something like 30 square meters.....
