lets join and discuss who had sent renewed/ Relaminated Passports to NDVO.

My renewed passport was sent on 23 June 2011 and still waiting for the news.

Hi Ind

my passport is in a good condition , just a bit of its corner has stated coming out..will it be a problem ? if yes what is the procedure to repair it / get it repaired / i want to do it at the earliest even before NDVO asks for it ..

IMO corner lamination problem is not a big issue . If your passport is an old one (pasted photograph on pp) than CHC might ask for new passport as new pp's are with scanned photograph and with barcode.

will it be an issue if just a bit ( half inch) of lamination from the corner is peeled off?

It will not be a problem but on a safer side show it to the passport office.
