Dear

I have applied for permanent residence in canada and I am awaiting PPR  . before that I sent baby's medical , processing fees , PCC, updated schedule -1  for both me and my spouse . these docs were received in the august 5th, 2011 by the singapore visa office . my visa office is singapore .I nitially I applied in  december 9,2010 and my case was held for the pregnancy of my spouse . after the birth of the new born , now we sent those documents .it is almost 25 days passed , we heard no more form the visa office  since the final submission of the docs . Medical examination  validity is just going to be expired in the comming november 22, 2011. Although Ihave informed the visa office of it s immediate expiry but they replied nothing from the visa office . is it possible to issue PPR  when only 2 months is left for  medical validity?

could you plese share your experience  how long should we wait for the PPR call from the visa office ?

your comments are highly appreciated .

Dear Imu,

I have done my medical with my spouse and kid on 24th June 2010. Due to pregnency my wife could not completed the Xray.  So after the birth, I have to send the Passport, Birth Certificate, Applicatioin fee (CAD 150) and newly filled forms etc. Then my Visa Office, (Singapore) send me the request to complete the XRay for my spouse and Medical for my new baby. It was completed and send to VO on 14th December 2010. Then on 26th January VO requested me to send the PNW statement and Bank satement for last 12 months.  Then a long pause.........  Irrespective of all my queries or case specific queries to VO nothing happened. As my Medical validity was upto 25th May 2011, so I have decided to order my CAIPS and found that Singapore VO has already send my re-medical request on 25th May 2011. Which I have received on Early July 2011 and completed the re-medical. VO received it on 19th July 2011. Finally I have received my PPR on 25th August. Accordingly I have submitted my pasports on 28th August 2011 at CHC, Dhaka. And now waiting for the Visa. I hope this may help you. However if you will have further queries or comment about my case please feel free to PM me.

With Warm Regards

Dear Imu,

only recent photographs were requesteed. I was worried about if they ask for new PCC, ( due to my overseas study I had to collect PCC from overseas, which usually takes time). Wish you all the best .
