So I have a quick question.... I am sponsoring my wife in costa rica. She received AOR feb 1. Her Medicals expire in July, my question is should she redo her Medicals before expiration? Or should I just wait until or if they tell her to do so? I just want the least delays as possible since the Guatemala offic is so slow! Thanks!

We have the same problem - my husband is here on a work visa, so had his medicals done in May 2010 for his work visa. We applied in January to Paris, file has been there for about 6 weeks. Not sure if we should do the medicals again before they ask?? I don't want a delay either. Anyone have any experience with this?

It's your choice if you want to do them again or not before CIC requests them. But doing them will not hurt or delay your application.

I would do them soon, before they ask.

but hey, if my wife does re-do her medicals, we would send the copy 2 of the medicals to Guatemala right?

Yes, make sure she includes a letter with her file number clearly indicated so they can attach it to the appropriate file.
