Relative Points Very Urgent and Important!

My bros and sis,

I have an aunty in Canada whom I have declared in my form to CIO as Relation and claiming 5 points. Now that I want to send my full documents to my visa office she said, she could not send copies of her PR and other stuff to me by post or email for security reasons. She sent me a mail to tell me this.

Although without her 5 points I already heve 71 points give or take. What should I do?

I was thinking of these options hence require your advise and inputs:

          1. Should I forget about her and tell the visa officer that I don't want to claim the points anymore.

          2. Should I send my documents with explanation and the mail conversation she sent to me?
          3. Can I send my documents without the relative point and expect zero which does not affect me?

Pleawse I need urgent advise.

hi right!

my brother lives in canada and he sent me scanned documents of everything by email. your aunty can do the same or even she can send by registered post. at this stage i think you should not exclude your aunty but if you want to then yes you can inform visa office that aunty is not willing to send documents due to security reasons and show your aunty's mail as proof.

if you want to exclude your aunty i think the best thing is to inform the visa office that she is not willing to send her prr and other documents due to security reasons and send the copy of aunty's mail as a proof.

Dear Right,

When you submit the full documents, remove relatives tick mark and thats all.

You have points without relatives which is fine. VO will not deduct the relatives points from your total score without relatives points.

I also have the same case with me. Initially i just put spouse relatives for sake of eligibilty.

Now I have points reaching 67 without relatives points. I did not call them or ask any obligation to do for me.

They will not only ask for copies of her passport/PR card; they will also ask several other things. Such as proof that she is in Canada currently, maybe her financial records and so on. If this relative of yours is unwilling to send such a basic thing as a copy of the PR card, it is unlikely that she will share with you other details more personal and sensitive. I would therefore suggest that you write to the VO that she is not willing to send her PR card copy and attach her mail and since you have enough points without her, you shouldnt have a probelm at all. We don't have to fill another form bt photocopy of the one sent to CIO which I have, I think I can just put iit in a letter to my VO

That's human for you.....but no hard feelings. My mother brought her mother up....

She was leaving with us when she was in elementary class then, her mother would fetch her from school to my mummy's shop before she (her mother closed) from work.

Just like III suggested on the other thread, try convincing her to send them by courier directly to Accra.You may have to send a cover letter by email or fax to her which will be attached with the documents.You can even approach DHL at Isolo as it should be possible to pay for this service from Lagos.

On the other hand I feel you may not stress yourself if she does not oblige in as much as you are sure of 67 point, since any point over and above 67 does not confer any advantage in the immigration process. Just my thought.

Regarding your relationship, if I get your explanation above very well,it seems her mother and your own mother are sibblings.Then I think that makes you cousins and I am not sure if that will even give you any points. Again, juast my thought.
