Hi,

I got my rejection letter mentioning that reference letter from my company did not match with NOC 0213.

Can I reapply ? Is there any specfic time period for which I need to wait before reapplying? Can I apply in same category?

can definately reapply any time u want ... but make sure this time it matches with the requirement or say they cant provide the requested letter because.........

You can reapply but this time you will need to justify your job duties and if they change substantially from last one for the same period then there should be an explaination.

Was there any Ref Check or they decided to reject only on teh basis of your Ref Letter before u get this Rejection Letter.

Also this rejection was recvd by Post or email.

I am worried about my case.

If there is a variation in Job duties submitted at CIC, NS and CHC, ND, then it may be a cause of rejection. In my opinion, at earlier we gave our profile & it may be different from our experience letter. I think it must be approved by local CHC if job duties are according to NOC and also may be different from initial application.

its said only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches, yes I had got the same reality.I've immidiately reapplied, got accepted frm NS and recently forwarded my doc. at ND visa post, but whenever and however I am online and see the case status i present myself with treamblling heart. lets see what will happen. I don't have any Idea about what will happen.

I am really sorry for that.  Here I would like to share something.

I know how are you feeling at this moment.  This happened with me also.  After submitting my documents, I got AOR but after that I got a letter from CHC, ND that my application was rejected on some wrong basis.  I applied under NOC 4131 and they stated that "The institution where I was teaching was not a post secondary institute" but, In reality, it was only a Post Secondary Institute.  Then, I sent representation to the Visa Officer in CHC, ND.  But, they did not reply me for more than one month.  After that, I sent them mail and fax as well and then they replied me after 20 days.  They also called me and told me that they sent me a mail and they are willing to reopen my case.  However, by that time they had initiated my refund, so they asked me to send them fresh fee once again.  They re-opened my case and I sent them fee again.  It was an incident that the day when they called me was the day when I got refund.

So, you never know what can happen with you as well.  So, don't worry and send them representation.

First don't panic and don't get worried.

1. you can re apply anytime.
2. try to send them representation and only if you feel your reference letter had Job Duties close to NOC 0213

Try again and you will succeed.

Dines, my situation and NOC is quite similr to your, in my case also with 1st rejection they had written that accordig to the letter of employment of my employer my NOC is not 4131 as I had indicated but is is 4141 so my application was not eligible to process.
But reality is that I had bee teaching from 15th aug 2004 to 15th Aug 2006 as an English Teacher for XI and XII then after I had got an appointment as an English Lecturer and since 16th Aug 2006 to TILL Date I have been teaching to Bachelor degree level sudents as a ful time Lecture.
What the great mistake with my exp. lettr was my employer had used single letter of experience to mention my both level of experience with a letterhead ''SchEMS College, +2'' visa officer had only seen this ''+2'' but not the college. Another thing is both institutes are under the single management members in my case. this is all about me.
I had send an application to re-consider the decision too stating all these things but again I got a letter that since a decision has been made our file can never been opened so bettr to apply with new file. So I have done the same.
But everything is in the condition of wait and see..... now. be in touch.
