I am not sure if you have already submitted the application or other documents or not yet. I will explain how did it go for us:
1) Case Rejected August 2010 during Interview
2) I was informed about this in Sept. 2010
3) The letter to my spouse in Canada was sent on wrong address.
4) My laywer asked for the file from Immigration Canada in October 2010
5) My file came back after two and half months. i.e. in Jan 2011
6) We prepaired everything, all documents, photos, etc.....
7) Applied in March 2011

ADR was accepted in May 2011
9) ADR interview in June 2011
10) ADR approved in first week of June 2011, Appeal Allowed
11) No News until Late August 2011, when I receive the kit to fill all forms, get PCC
12) Medical Requested in Sept 2011
13) Passport Requested in 3rd Week of Oct. 2011 by phone.
14......... Wait game is still on
So, basically you are looking for around 10 months to a year and half. CHC ND takes it time because of the workload they have. I dont declare them responsible buy definately with more staff or some policy changes, things can be done quicker.
