Hi Friends

Albertagovernor in your mail you given this statement You also need a permission letter from AINP office to apply for work permit.

1) my question is will they provide that letter if I have no employment offer from any Alberta companies.

2) My  other question is after Nominated for Alberta provisional program do i need to apply for federal program or can I go to Alberta directly and can i continue processing my PR from Canada. If it possible how long it will take from Canada for processing, because my lawyer said for federal processing in US  it will take nearly 6-9 months.

3) Do I need to show my W2 forms in the embassy when I go to PR visa this question iam asking because  I am applying for PR under H1-B category.

4) Is there any possibility of avoiding federal  immigration process. Can I go to Canada with the Nomination letter  and can I process my PR from there, If so what type visa i have to take and more over what are the letters required and how mcuh time it will take.

looking forward for help.

Thanks & Regards

I have seen you posting similar questions several times and looks like nobody is replying. I do not have answers to all of your questions, but I can answer #1. You NEED a JOB OFFER to be able to get a TWP (temporary work permit) even though you have a PNP certificate. Only thing you do not need is LMO.

Here is what I found on another forum:

Question: "Do you have to have a job offer to apply for a TWP OR can you apply for it based on the nomination saying you want to move to the province that nominated you and look for a job and wait for the PR to be processed (in Buffalo)?"

Answer from a Canadian immigration consultant: In this situation you need to have a job offer. You can get an exemption from needing an LMO because you are being supported by the Province but you dont get an Open Work Permit like certain categories of people like spouses of students.
