Hi,
My wife is planning to launch her application as PA in may-june 2011 under FSW, Reg nurse category. We have had all documents ready but since the nurse cap has reached its limit we didnt had any option.

My concern is If we apply in june does CIO or CHC waits till next june or till the cap reached 1000 to start processing or send updates.

Not sure if the Quota opens in June or July. I think it is July. You will have to wait till July 2011 to apply.

If you apply in June (before the quota opens), CIC will send your application back to you.

CIC does not wait for the quota to be filled to issue a response. The applications are assessed in the order they are received.

Hi thanks for the reply. I have one more query with regards to IELTS and passport. My wife's date of birth was incorrect on her 10th ceritificate and passport which got carried away on the IELTS test report.

But when we checked the birth certificate it was different and so we obtained a affidavit from a magistrate stating this error. But it seems VO has rejected one such application. so my consultant advised to correct the details and obtain a fresh passport.

My concern is if we get a new PP the IELTS test report shows the old PP details of PP number and incorrect DOB. will that be a problem???

Iam from India..and moreover iam an old applicant myself applied under FSW back in june 2004, got enquiry calls from CHC NewDelhi on Jan 2008 to my home telephone number. Got letter to update details on july 2008 and then it was complete silence.. It is almost 6.5 years now thatz when i thought of reapplying under new fast track rule with my wife as PA (Reg nurse category).

I got the same problem with my wife birth certificate too before but its alrigth now, it was ammended in our national statistics office here in the Phil. In sha la everything will be ok for you dream, keep the faith...
