Hi Every one...Iam a Registered Nurse in India...i want to study again Nursing course(Canadian Certification) in Canada(Toronto)...will the Universities give any exemption??any short term courses leading for Nurse registration?(other that Crne)
please help am so confused about this...

i think it's only possible if you're already in Canda, unless you are applying for student visa then you can find a University that will accomodate you.

Re: Nursing registration, since you are already a nurse in your home country, you just have to apply for assessment in the Ontario College of Nursing.. then wait for their response. You will either be required of a bridging program or will allow you to take CRNE right away. After passing your CRNE, you can practice as a nurse. In some provinces, like saskatchewan and alberta, you can temporarily work as a nurse if you are given an eligibility (meaning you you pass the assessment and you are allowed to take the CRNE)... im not so sure abbout nursing in toronto...

Thank u Imbubbles..one more question how many months is that bridging course and after that i have to sit for Crne or not...iam fresh nursing graduate..what will be the assessment process...please let me know in detail...Thanx in  advance
