hi , i wonder here if anyone has any suggestions to this case
am moroccan married to a canadian citizen and we have sent in our application to mississauga , the marriage is registered here in morocco i wonder if the same happens in canada i mean if my wife wants the canadian authorities to recognize that she is married what can she do ; how can she make our marriage recognized in the canadian territory , in other words does she need go to a certain office and register it or what ; thakns for ur help

No such thing in Canada, if the marriage is legal in Morocco it is legal in Canada (although not if polygamous) there is is no such registration.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that i was in similar situation as you.I live in canada but got married in abroad since i wanted my marriage to be recognized in canada, i registered at The Directeur De l'état civil.You will have to write a letter to  the Directeur de l'état civil. In the letter you have to write that you married in abroad and you want them to add your name on the marriage list. You also have to let them know in the letter if it was your first marriage or your second ect. You will have to mail them your original marriage certificate, You and your spouse original birth certificate with your letter.After 20 days, they will send you a letter in the letter they will inform you if they accepted your request or not. If they accept your request, then you will have to fill a form for the canadian marriage certificate. After that you can get your canadian marriage certifiate and you will be on the list that show you are married in canada. I checked most the Provincial Vital Stats web sites, Quebec seems the only one where you can register a foreign marriage.
