I am moving to Regina next week and looking for some settlement help
1.) Finding temp accommodation
2.) Finding rental accommodation
3.) Which Phone services to use
4.) New Immigrant helping agencies

I would appreciate if some one from Regina can point me to the good source of information

Hi ankit_20,

You can check kijiji or usedregina for apartment rentals and temp accommodations. You can also do a search at canpages.ca for a list of apartments here. There's also Remai group or Boardwalk rental communities, these apartments are generally well maintained and are in good locations. Northcentral and Coventry are the neighborhoods to AVOID as they have a bad reputation in terms of high crime rate, etc. Downtown is good as well as neighborhoods in the east side of the city where you have access to a number of amenities, transportation, etc. I guess your choice will depend on the location of your workplace.

Sasktel is the primary provider of telephone/cable/internet services here, there's also Access communications.

Like I said in my PM, Regina Open Door Society is the immigrant serving org here. http://rods.sk.ca

Good luck and welcome to Regina!
