Hi.....,
I applied for permanent residence under federal skilled worker class (Occupation: university lecturer/professors; NOC: 4121) on 31st May, 2010 but my application was cancelled due to unacceptable form of payment (money order is no more acceptable). They sent two rejection letters where they mentioned that this method of payment is not valid for Skilled Worker Applications submitted to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia after December, 2008.

They mentioned in one letter (highlighted with yellow marker):
[To receive a refund for fees paid please contact the Visa office where your fee payment was directed]
I mentioned tokyo as visa office specific location in the form.

After getting these letters I sent several mails (with scan copies of these rejection letters+ scan copies of money order receipt) to Canadian Embassy, Tokyo, Japan for refunding the application fee (1250 CAD) but they told me to contact with CIO, Sydney, Canada.

I sent mail to CIO, sydney, NS, Canada, one month before regarding refunding the application fee but did not get any reply yet.

I am confused and bit worried about the refund of application fee.

what should I do now? Can anyone guide me in this regards?

I need your valuable suggestions.

With regards
Khan

Write to boss : Mr Jason Kenney,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/minister/index.asp

The application fee is to be refuded by CIO only and not by visa office
