Hello
When first i submitted my application for SW in cic london i have attached my passport photocopy and in between this process my passport was renewed and i have updated cic with this change and send a copy of my new passport.
Now im having PP request from cic so i have to send them my expired passport also with the new one.
PMM i need your comments also on this issue

Unless instructed otherwise, the Visa office will only want your new passport. PMM |

Hi members. when my friend submitted her application to CIO, the passport was not expired, but now it is expired and she will get a new passport soon.
so while she is waiting for the 1st AOR from CIO, she does not have to update about the passport info, correct?  or no?does any one have similar experinces? |

when you got the new passport, did you send the notarized photoopy of the new passport or was it just the photocopy to let the cic kow of the change? And which all pages of the new passport did you send? i mean was it just the bio data pages?

In my view, no need to update at this stage. Wait for requirement of further documents and submit the latest passports along with those documents only. Back ground check actually starts after the submission of all documents and completion of requirements (as per CHC criteria) that i believe actually is not your case till now. Gud luk |

Only copy of passport. Copy of Information / biodata page and visa page..if u r resident of another country Ashraf |

In my case, I attached the old passport with the renewed one and sent to London Visa Office. It might be unnecessary but preferred to be in the safe side.

Attach your old passport to the new one. It is safer |
