regarding passport request urgent help

hi friends
i have a daughter who is 4 yrs old
she has a passport which is nearly 3and 1/2 yrs
soewhere in the forum i learnt i have to apply for a new passport for those passports which are more than three years- for all children less than 5 yrs of age?
I have accompanying letter from mCHC London
which does not mention any thing like that - is it a must when CHC is not requesting - nor any information from them mentions about the issue

I got to know from other post that if the photo of the minor is more than 1 yr old on the passport then u have to change the photo in the passport.
now in indian pp office they do not change the photo only they change the whole passport.Did this requirement is given in ur passport request?they must have given instruction just check it out.if it is there email cic abt this they will say what to do.usually they say to change means make a  new passport of minor.
do it fast because they can take upto 3 weeks to make a new one.
by the way how many days they have given to submit the passport and have they asked for immigrant summery form also/

no instructions on minor passport issue
they have given 60 days - i inquired from indian mission here they said in 3 - 5 days they will issue a new passport if needed for the minor

i am just thinking of writing to CHC london regarding the issue -  why try to make new passport if they dont ask for it. do you understand my point?

they have instructions regarding every intricate details if it was a matter of concern they defnetely would have written something about .Dont you think so?

yes u r right if they have not asked for it why to change but I still insist pls check in instruction given by them in photo instructions also.
becoz got to know from fellow members that their passport has returned without ppr first then they have changed the photo and send backthen got ppr.
or u can just mail them becoz u have plenty of time.
By the way I think u r from india  ot which college?I am from delhi IPH occupational therapist.

this photo change issue of the minor kid happened with me! YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE PHOTO OF THE MINOR KID IF ITS MORE THAN 3 YRS OLD & KIDS AGE IS LESS THAN 6. FOR MORE THAN 6 YS OF AGE KID THE PHOTO MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 5 YRS OLD. MIND IT.

but no where in the passport request letter did they mention this precondition.
which is your visa office
mine is London CHC
in my case
I have travelled several times with my child to UK /France
so passport has several visas of her with recent photos will that help?
