I applied to Buffalo office with a official cheque from a US bank.I asked for $1100 canadina but they cud give me only USD.I converted the amt $1100 canadian dollars in US amt and sent them.I'm wondering if it is acceptable cos the exchange rates change and wat if by the time they get the cheque the exchange rate changes and the USD value is less then Canadian Dollar?Can someone help or advice in this regard?

Well I hope that you paid them $1100 US, because that is what the US $ fee is: http://geo.international.gc.ca/can-am/main/visas/fee_schedule_us_dollars-en.asp 
If you submitted the wrong fee, your application will be returned.

Yes I submitted $1100 USD.
