Hi

I am asking this on behalf of my dad. He is 56 years old and interested to apply for fast track Canadian immigration. He will apply after July,2011 according to the new list and new changes post July,2011. My question is how many chances are there if the proposed changes by CIC will be implemented post July,2011 or are these just rumours? And also do you have any idea abot the new list of July 2011 - 2012? My dad does qualify under the current point system but if the proposed changes of age, language and work experience will be implemented then it would become difficult for him. An early reply will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Cheesy I would say that if he is going to apply after July, he has to wait and see what changes are going to take effect. If he  qualifies according to the current requirements, he can keep documents prepared to apply after July this year. However, securing a good position in Canada for a new comer at the age after 55 years would be difficult unless he is prepared to struggle hard in the competitive job hunting field.
