Hi I am new to this, but my question is,,, two months ago my husband was refused his visa to canada because the immigration office stated that it is not a bonified relationship, just papers basically, she decided this after a 10 min interview, anyway, i recieved the letter and i appealed this,, today i recieved a letter about a hearing and then that is when it is decided if i can appeal, does anyone have any experience with this the procedures , timelines, what i should prepare, if i should get a lawyer etc. i am totally lost in all this,, its been over a year that we have seen each other, and we are both getting very frustrated that it is taking so long ,, thank you

I havent been in your position but I have imagined being so, as probably every potential immigrant has.  I dread it at times as I wait for the results of my efforts to immigrate.  One thing I do know!  If I am rejected, we will certainly appeal and I WILL TURN MY CASE OVER TO THE BEST IMMIGRATION LAWYER THAT I CAN FIND.  I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO THE SAME.

So sorry....Best Wishes!!

Yes, am appealing a case as well, I saw somewhere that most appeals go though successfully.

Am gathering my papers, I wont go with a lawer, just the grace of God and lots of prayer.

Do u know of you have to pay to appeal
