Dear All,
I have a question on applying canada PR under CEC category.
1. I have worked in canada since 22-Jun-2008 to 14-May-2010. After that, i have relocated to india. I have worked 40 Hrs per week, so in total I have 98 Weeks*40 Hrs =3920 Hrs. Pls let me know, am I eligible to apply for PR. Thanks in advance!

Thanks,
Vinu.

Hi Vinu, so sorry to say, no, you are not eligible under the CEC program.  It has to be a minimum of 2 years (104 weeks) AND a minimum of 3900 hours...

but he/she has worked for 3920 which is greater than 3900 hours needed, i think he/she is eligible. I would apply if i was the one.

No, because the OP has not met the requirement of working for 2 years/104 weeks.

I fully agree with jes_ON. You cannot apply before the 2 years are up. And in those 2 years, you have to work for 37.5 hours/week for 104 weeks. If you work less hours per week (part-time), you will have to work more than 2 years (but less than 3 years) to be eligible. For example, you cannot say you will work 85 hours per week and hope to apply in 46 weeks.
