Hi guys,

My husband is waiting for his PPR. He works in US, and after landing he would be returning back to US to continue his job until he finds one here. My question is, can he still re-enter Canada to visit me, even if his PR Card has not yet arrived?Huh

PR card is the "best" proof that you can show to IO and the port of entry to prove that your status is that of a permanent resident and you do need visa etc. If for some reason(s) you do not have PR card and want to enter Canada, check this out: cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp

Your husband will be absolutely fine.
I went on vacation to the US after landing but before getting the PR card. All I needed was my passport and COPR and had absolutely no problems whatsover.
As long as your husband has his COPR along with his passport he'll be fine.
Congrats!
