In general, how long is the recruitment process here in Canada?

It really depends on the industry and job. Can you provide us some idea of the industry/industries and types of roles you're looking at? Is the job permanent, temporary, contract, or something else? Also, how do you define recruitment? Does it start when the job is posted and end when an offer is made to one candidate? Does it start when the interviewing starts? Does it end when the new employee actually starts the job? Having additional information will help us answer.

A customer service (sales) position. The timeframe between appplication date closes and an offer is made to a candidate.

Ofcourse it would depend upon how many applicants are applying, practical tests involved, magnitude of background checks, urgency of hiring company needing their positions filled and so on.

Is this a sales role as in retail sales? If it is, then unfortunately I don't think I can help. (Don't have the experience.)

Or is it possibly a sales/customer service role in an organization like a bank?
