Record of ‘REJECTED APPLICATION'?????

When an application for PR is rejected, all documents and application are backed to applicant mentioning that, there is no record maintaining of that application in CIO office.
Really they don't mention any record!
Has  any body ides  about their record system   ?

if application is returned due to "incompleteness" then there is no record kept by CIC. but if an applicant gets NER (Negative eligibility review) then CIC keep the record and all the documents. In that case, CIC just return the payment(not the docs).
By the way, if the application is refused at VO stage(after processing has started) then there would not be any refund.

One of my friend applied and his application backed in priliminary stage due to insufficient fee with all documents. No file number he had  got.
now, has there any record in CIC, Canada?

your friend got his docs back since his application was "incomplete"
Incomplete means: missing docs / insufficient fee/ missing forms/ form without signature/ invalid IELTS result etc
CIO doesnt keep any record of Incomplete applications

I am Taptatanu,my file gets rejected as I have submitted affidavit copies of my job responsibilities instead of original job duties in company"s letter head.Till date I didnot receive my other original docs along with refund cheque.Presently I want to go for refiling as I have received job responsibilities letter from all my employers.How can I go for refiling my case without original docs.Secondly,I have also applied in old file track i.e in Mar-2006 and that file is under process.What docs will I submit if any update comes for that file.Anyone please guide me ,my agency ***** misguided me.Its a fraud agency.I already requested CHC-ND to return mu docs but there is no reply from them.

CHC ND will return your docs to your agent coz you have authorized your agency for all sorts of communication about your file.

As my suggession, time is short. If possible, try to get original copies from the sources. As your agent is froud, I think they may not back you copies.

If an application is returned due to incompleteness then it is true there is no full file record created. However, CIO do keep a list of applications they've returned, so an applicant can find out from CIO if they returned the application, even though CIO won't keep any specifics.

And actually, at visa office stage you may get a refund - it depends why it is refused. There is a 2nd eligibility review performed by visa office (we think this is a quick check to ensure CIO made no errors). If it is refused at this stage, I believe the applicant will get a refund.

If the application is refused after this 2nd eligibility review - i.e. as a result of background/document checks, or medicals, or security checks - then they will not get a refund.
