There is nothing to worry in ur case,although as I have previously said that this phase of uncertainity just kills u ,when u dont know what might be the outcome of all the hard work u have done,but believe me what I am seeing in Canada Immigration are mostly "Approvals" thing,didnt see many cases that have been refused at this point of time and I have heard that this window of opportunity will persist at least for a year,so its the best time for us to involve in this immigration process.In my opinion ur case is almost done.

I sent my initial application to CIO, NS on Dec. 19, 2008, which was acknowledged by their letter on 13 Jan. 2009 as eligible for further processing at local CHC and file already transferred to local CHC. After taking IELT, I submitted my full case on May 08, 2009 to CHC Islamabad.

I received the last letter from CHC, Islamabad dated 15 June, 2009. It say;

"This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for permanent residence in Canada at this office on 08/05/09.

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been transferred to our office from the Case Intake Office Sydney and has been determined eligible for further processing.

A new file number has been created for you...etc etc."

There is no advice or information on the next step. The E-Case shows:
1. File transferred to local CHC.
2. In Process

When I check the status of "in process", it reads, "Started working on your case on June 05, 2009'.

Senior members please advise where exactly do I stand. I have posted my time-line on Trackitt.com for reference.

My Ecas is showing "Started processing your application on June 01, 2009"

Based on Imran's timeline, I am hopeful of receiving some good news this week.

I am fully agree with you. I am also a member like in your position. According to the timeline of Imranni, Narinder it can be expected that we may get the medical request within  40 to 45 days.

So many cases i have seen, are in pending and the satus is Processing started withing June 1-10, 2009.
