congrats gurdeep on doin ur medical soon, hope u ll be able to ve visa soon. could u plz brief tht why ur case took so long i mean many ppl who had applied even after u ve got their Prship. Secondly  wht do u think wht was the reason for ur interview.was the delay on ur side (unabling to provide any docs etc) or it was due to Cic. i hope u ll share ur experience for others guidance . thanks n good luck for the rest of the process.

newcomer - thanks for the wishes.  About the delay I dont have exact idea but what I think is that we got a baby in 2006, for whom we sent updates and I had some conflict with my previous employer and I always keep informing the CIC about the circumstances, may these are the reasons for the delay. I never requested for   "CAPS" notes so I dont have exact idea about why I got interview, but during the interview they just stress on the educational certificates for me and my wife, they also checked my current employment docs and bank statements and she also confirmed my sallary which was shown in the bank statement. Thats it...
