we understand ur frustration & feelings. but it's not over until it's over. plz send LDN    a case specific enquiry using the webform saying: ''i have sent my full docs on xx/ xx/ 20xx. i wanted to know the status of my application.'' if in their reply they say that they have sent u a letter , then just wait for that letter. if their reply says that they r yet to start ur processing then all r ok.

we know it's really really painful to wait this long & then see something demoralising like ' Eleigibility review complete' but let's hold our breath & let's wait till the ultimate decison comes to us from LDN

Iam in Dubai. I applied as an accountant. Actually i am not so sure about my documnt submssn, as it is done by my consultant. My consltnt asked me my labour contract, appointment letter and previous contract copies.I have been in UAE fo the last 8 years. and in my Dubai visa position menstioned is Accountant General. I didn't given them any refernce letter or any kind of experience letter for the current job or previous jobs. My consltnt didn't asked for it. Agent was saying that, they used to send all these documnts for along period of time . Now again i called them. They still  saying that, i met all the required points; and keep faith that it ( E Cas Status ) may not be same all the time. But still i am not so sure ...coz i have seen lots of post regarding this status . last i heard that of Mr. Saxena Sagar. I don't know what he decided now.

Others too Pls Comment ......

Any way keeping my fingers crossed. How long i should wait for further reply or should i send a Case Spcfc Enquiry...?

u r correct in saying that there's no point of giving up.

but take it slowly & approach the whole process with organised thinking & paperworks. do not go to any consultant/ agent. just do it urself; if u need any help, big or small, ask us---we will be here for u. do not waste a single penny on consultant.

take as musch time as needed to fill in the application forms. now that u have some sort of idea about the CIO phase & LDN    phase, take each step with a very very planned approach.

i am not trying to be sarcastic but trying to help u so that this time u can go through.

i am sure u will be in Canada, prosper in Canada & make ur next generation proud of u. i know we all can do it.

My ecas is still received by visa office. it's been four months since it was received by london.

Brother I have completed 5 months after sending full docs to London. I sent full docs on Jan 6th which recd by them on Jan 9th and I got my AOR from them dated 26.01.10. I sent a Case Specific Inquiry and got a reply stating that..."your application is in process or to be verified by a visa officer".... means something may happen in coming days/weeks/months!!!

Did you got the info about change of occupations from today onwards!!! Dept. of Immigration, Canada reduced occupations under FSW Category from 38 to 29.

It is applicable to applications received by CIO from today onwards.... Luckily we escaped from the changes... There will be a capping of 20,000 visas per year as well..

Thank you for letting us know about the changes in noc. I've been busy since last week since it's the students exam week.
I hope and pray that everyone of us will make it to canada in 6-12 months starting 2nd aor

i think u all know by now that a new occupation list has been announced which is effective immediately. still if u wanna know the whole story, here is the link:

to make it simpler in few words, the gist is:

1. this list will affect those who has applied on/ after 26 June, 2010
2. each year only 1,000 application from each occupation from all countries will be accepted for processing
3. each year only 20,000 applictions in total from all these occupations from all countries will be accepted for processing
4. this 20,000 applications does not include AEOs

Dear thamsinkumar,

First you will get AOR from London. Applicants who submitted full docs to London during March and April waiting for their AOR. So you may get your AOR during Jul-Aug only. They are processing applications as per date of lodgement to CIO/CIO AOR/File Tfr to CHC order. I mentioned "date of lodgement to CIO/CIO AOR/File Tfr to CHC order" because no one knows exactly whats the order of processing by CHC London.

Whats your occupation and I believe that you applied from Middle East. Am I correct?
