hi MASMUN

i am not sure about Singapore, but by looking at London CHC, what i understood is that while e-cas is as 'Received by Visa Office' they checck if they can agree that u hav got enough points to be considered for doc. verification, after that the e-cas changes to 'In Process' and at this stage they verify all ur docs, contact ur employer & also initiate other background checks. after that they send u 'med. request'----after receiving the meds they take another 3/4 months (as London is quite slow) they send PPR if security & background check is fine.

by the look of ur reply from Singapore it might b that they r considering if u can get 67 or more than 67 points to be considered for doc. verification. however, i might b wrong as i just learnt these from this forum only, so wait for seniors' comments

Hi Sterion75

well i am expecting the ecas to change to "in process" this month..
there is something thats makes me feel that file has already started processing...

1 - when you check ecas and click on the link "received by visa office" that link changes its color indicating that the link has been visited in the past.. i am using the same computer since 26th jan when ecas was last updated and that link always showed a different color.. but all of a sudden 3-4 days ago the color of the link changed.. it turned blue.. showing it to be a new and unvisited link.. but with same status.. could there be any possibility that something is updated but not shown in ecas?? lol silly doubt i know

2- my RPRF has been encashed 1 week ago.. my bank said

Actually i am not bothered about the progress of my file but at this stage (when verification calls are expected) i have to alert my employer and brief him as well.. thats why i am very much concerned about this ecas status.
so please do let me know when you receive or received the verification call

Best wishes,
Sagar.

I have been following your thread for some time now. I am also an applicant with London and my status just changed to 'In Process'. Your thread is very interesting and having moved to the processing stage now, I feel more confident to join in the discussion. Hope we have more good news to share soon. Cheers.

hi SAXENA.SAGAR
regarding 1. i think somehow ur pc's internet browsing history has been deleted. as a result, when u r logging in cic website, it will show a brand new e-cas, that's why the colour didn't change

regarding 2. that is a very good sign as per my knowledge. this means London CHC is satisfied with ur files & may be (70% chance) u will receive a medical request within 3-4 weeks. unfortunately, the e-cas doesn't show strightway if London CHC has posted the med. request. so, u have to wait for the letter for medical from London. but again, i think encashing RPRF is definitely a good sign.

best of luck....................................................................
