"Received by Visa office" status means second AOR attained?pls help

My online status shows received by visa office.I forwarded my application via an agency and they are not conveying proper information.I am anxious of my second AOR.I submitted my full documents in sept.2010. Is "received by visa office"means that i already got second AOR?I applied through ND visa office,how long usually towards med request? seniors please help....

hey even i have the same problem received 2nd aor in oct 2010..... but estatus is received by visa office....does it mean that once we received 2nd AOR means the status should change to in process....?

It is indicated in the 2nd AOR that the applicant have to wait for 8 mos, this is for London VO, other VO is not the same. RBVO can turn to IN PROCESS even without reaching 8 mos.

I believe that he has not received the email with the second AOR yet. Only his status changed Received by visa office. I think his question was how much he has to wait between the status on the ECAS and the email from the Visa office.
