Yaara, dont worry though your AOR has reached you in little late but the processing time starts from the day they dispatch you, so you are very well in game, not delayed in your process.

We all know how capable is our indian postal dept. Hope they will get better one day.

All the best.

Hello Sharma,

This is strange. Is there any guideline that says photos in the passport should not be more than 3 years old? The only rule I know regarding passport if I am not mistaken is that it should be valid for at least a year during the stamping of the visa. In my country validity of passport is 5 years. Does this mean that if passpprt was issued in 2006 and expires in 2011, they will no longer accept it?

Well photo requirements in the application form is different. I believe it must be the most recent one. But new photos in a 3 year old passport? It is indirect instruction of get a new passport even if it is still valid as per immigration rules. They're rude!

There are such guidelines. Generally stated in the RPRF+Passport request letter.

thank u. yes they have written about 3 months' period in case we hear nothing from them. it's a simple letter stating that we have recd ur full docs and it wiil be determined whether u r eligible or not if yes then ur file will be processed.

   Hi Sharma77,
Hi I am new to the forum and please Sharma77, could you give me more information about the passport of the minor son. my baby is also a minor below 10 year and the picture of the baby is in my passport.

1) My  question is , did the embassy say it is the passport picture that is older or the passport itself?  Pleae let me know so that if it is the picture itself then i have to get a current picture of the baby and ask my embassy to put in my passport.
2 ) I sent my full application since June 23 till date no word from the visa Office. I do not know whether to contact them or wait?

Thanks

Hi Sanjeev,

I am sunandan here. I am willing to hire a consultant for filing my case.  I need a reputed, reliable, economic and CIC certified consultant based at New Delhi.

Please recommend the name in case you have hired.

Thnx
